CoVEs
Five regional Centres of Vocational Excellence — the beating heart of AIRMOB, building skills ecosystems for innovative air mobility across Europe.
THE INITIATIVE
Excellence in vocational training
The initiative on Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) aims to support reforms in the VET (Vocational Education and Training) sector, ensuring high-quality skills and competences that lead to quality employment and career-long opportunities — meeting the needs of an innovative, inclusive, and sustainable economy. In the framework of AIRMOB, CoVEs are created in Italy, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, and Türkiye.
HOW THEY OPERATE
Two levels of action
National level
Each CoVE involves a wide range of local stakeholders, creating skills ecosystems that drive local innovation, regional development, and social inclusion.
International level
CoVEs and stakeholders that share a common interest in the air mobility sector come together across borders — forming the Euro-AIRMOB Community of Practice (CoP).
