The Italian aviation sector is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. From medical drone deliveries to urban air taxis, Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) is no longer a future concept, but a concrete reality. To ensure Italy plays a central role in this emerging sector, the Italian cluster of the AIRMOB project has organized the workshop “Activating the Italian Innovative Air Mobility Ecosystem”, an event dedicated to operators, institutions, universities, and companies in the sector. The workshop will take place online on February 24, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM (CET).

The Objective of the Workshop

The event represents a key milestone in activating the national IAM ecosystem. Experts and stakeholders will come together to co-design the future of innovative air mobility in Italy. Participants include industry leaders, vocational and higher education institutions, research organizations, and regulatory authorities.

During the workshop, three main topics will be addressed:

• The AIRMOB Mission
  An overview of initiatives aimed at developing the skills and capabilities needed for the next generation of aviation operators and professionals.

• Research Presentation
  Preliminary results from a comprehensive analysis of the IAM sector at both European and national levels will be shared, with a focus on current trends, challenges, and skills gaps.

• The Transformation Roadmap
  Participants will have the opportunity to preview the Transformation Roadmap and provide valuable feedback, helping to define national priorities in education, training, and industry collaboration over the next four years.
