AIRMOB’s vision and activities are informed by several key European strategies and frameworks. Our project aligns with and contributes to these initiatives:

  • EU Drone Strategy 2.0 – the European Commission’s roadmap for a smart and sustainable unmanned aircraft ecosystem by 2030. This strategy underlines the integration of drones into European society in a safe, secure, and environmentally friendly way, and AIRMOB’s training initiatives are geared to provide the skilled workforce needed for this emerging drone ecosystem.
  • European Skills Agenda – the EU’s action plan for upskilling and reskilling Europe’s workforce for the digital and green transitions. AIRMOB supports the Skills Agenda by identifying skill gaps in the air mobility sector and offering high-quality VET programs to close those gaps and enhance workforce competitiveness, while also fostering lifelong learning in technology and engineering fields.
  • European Green Deal & Digital Transition – the EU’s overarching strategy to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 alongside a digital transformation of the economy. Innovative air mobility (electric drones, eVTOLs, etc.) is highlighted as a key enabler of the green and digital transition, capable of reducing emissions and improving connectivity. AIRMOB’s focus on sustainable aviation technologies and digital skills directly contributes to these twin goals, preparing professionals to implement greener transport solutions and smart mobility services.
